Enjoyable little bathing lake. Overall quite shallow. Highly frequented by locals but plenty of space for everyone. Designated areas for BBQing and nude bathing. Volleyball court & kiosk.

Langwieder lake and Luß lake are two popular bathing lakes with mostly natural shores but also the occasional course grained beach strip. Extensive meadows, multiple playgrounds, kiosk all available.

Closest post office. Right next to a pharmacy and a pediatrician. Only a few meters from the S-Bahn station "Obermenzing", which is one stop away from us.

For those of you who get excited about riding an urban wave. If you come by for a surf though, be ready to wait in a queue and don´t expect more than a 7-15 sec ride each go. Always spectators around.
