Enfin un véritable restaurant chinois ! La taverne de Zhao propose des spécialité de Xian faites maison. Le service est un peu bourru mais cela est très vite compensé par la qualité des plats

A great restaurant, perhaps our preferred one but unfortunately often closed. The owner is passionated about gastronomy and can discuss with you during hours about the meals that you will taste.

A great restaurant for meat and wine afficiaonados (but personnaly, I find the proposed meats better than the proposed wines)
The owner is absolutely passionated by her products. She only proposes first class and labelled meats (i.e. Black Angus) that she finds in different butchery all over Paris to only get the bests. Clearly to not miss !
If you go there think to ask for "Os à moelle" and for the french fries cooked in trufflel oil and parmesan...

The Jardin des plantes is a parc in the middle of Paris where you can find the oldest zoo in the world as well as the biggest French natural museum. A nice walk to do, all around a flowered garden

Getting Around
Magenta or "Gare du Nord" (it is the same station) is the largest european train station. As such it is deserved by 2 standard subway lines (2, 4 and 5) and 3 express subway lines (RER A, B and E). It is also there that you will find most of the 15 bus lines.
Just an advice, during summer time, prefer the bus. As most of the parisians are in holidays, the streets are empty and will be more tempered and far nicer than subterrean transports

This street is where you will find all the convenience stores that you will need.
To be noted, you couldl also find :
- a very good cheesemonger, 215, rue du Faubourg Saint Martin (and could not stay here without tasting French cheeses)
- a wineshop, 195 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin where if you have time (a lot of time...) you should not hesitate to discuss with the owner about the different wines
- and the best bakery of the area, 219 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin

The "Marché Saint Quentin" is very close to our location. It is quite expensive but you will find the best products. Moreover, it is a very nice amble to do.
I recommend especially the cheesemonger, the beer store and fishery

Sightseeing
If you go to the Eiffel Tower you should avoid the elevators (where will have to wait at least one hour) and take the stairs. It is far easier that it seems until the second floor (the third being quite high).
Morevoer climbing inside the tower make feel being in the heart of the structure and let you take time to see

Montmartre is one of the most famous view with its white church and its 360° view on the rooftop of Paris. Montmatre is also a very nice place to have a drink or just a walkaround

A very nice walkaround to do in summer and the banks of the canal St Martin. When the evenings are hot, you will find all the parisians discussing, picnicing, playning petanque, drinking, etc. A great place to go out
