Favourite Casual Restaurants
Here are a some of my faves for casual eats from around Gibsons all the way to Sechelt! This is only a few of the great restaurants the Coast has to offer.
Made famous by the 1970's show, Beachcombers, Molly's Reach (now renovated) boasts views of Gibson's Landing. Menu offers a variety of food from poutine to fish'n chips, Molly's reach will have something to satisfy everyone in your party. They also offer a breakfast menu + a wine, beer and cocktail menu!

Get ready to feast, Bayview has many large dishes that range from authentic style Chinese and Szechuan dishes to more Canadian style Chinese food. The menu is rather vast and will have something for everyone. I never leave hungry.

I've been coming here since I was very young and has never failed to satisfy us. While the dining area is quite small (more of a take-out restaurant), it offers an intimate, small-town feeling. The owner has stressed the importance to his wife that she will not use any ingredients that are not fresh, thus why our food took a little bit longer than most places in Vancouver. When the food comes, you'll know he wasn't lying. Always a great experience here, I always take friends when they come to visit!
Absolutely Thai

Busy but inviting, Lunita's overlooks the landing and marina. Maybe one of the most comprehensive drink menus in Gibsons can be found here. They also include a kids menu.
Wholesome and healthy, the Gumboot Cafe offers fresh options like the Wild Salmon Burger to the Buddha Bowl which is vegetarian (can add your choice of meat if you chose to). The plating of dishes and dining room radiate a sense of hippie-chic.

Love love love this place. From drinks, quick bites and the friendliness of the staff, everything exceeded my expectations and I think they will exceed yours too. The cafe is well spaced and comfortable with a vibrant yet calm atmosphere. Try the scones, you won't regret it.

Great place to sit and unwind over great conversations with friends. Also a good place to catch up on some work or studying. Reasonable prices for quality drinks and food!

A great Sunshine Coast franchise, Wheatberries has by far some of the best muffins (blueberry is a must try) in BC. Some other locations for convenience include the Langdale Ferry Terminal, Upper Gibsons (Gibsons Way).

Great pub food, amazing place to catch up on a sports game while enjoying a drink. Has a patio.

A newer addition to Lower Gibsons, Buono offers fine Italian dining. Pasta, pizza, drinks and more, Buono is also available for a full restaurant buyout for events as well as a private chef for an at home Italian experience.
