This park sits beside our beautiful Donner Lake, well worth a visit. Walking trail takes you back in time to one of the Donner Party's campsites. Check out the statue east of the parking lot. Drive into the park for a day picnic and a swim.

12593 Donner Pass RdThis park sits beside our beautiful Donner Lake, well worth a visit. Walking trail takes you back in time to one of the Donner Party's campsites. Check out the statue east of the parking lot. Drive into the park for a day picnic and a swim.
Amazing view of Donner Lake. This bridge is called The Rainbow Bridge, built in 1926. It is unique in that is one of a very few built on a grade and compound curve. The ride up old HWY 40 is beautiful. Take it slow!

Take a drive to the emerald beauty. Lake Tahoe is spectacular and breathtaking. It is a 20 minute drive from Truckee. If you have time take the drive around the lake (78 miles) or just do the north shore between Kings Beach and Tahoe City.
