In the crown park around Imatrankoski, it returns at a time when Imatra is a tourist destination for its splendor. The crown park is located in the city center. The environment of Imatrankoski was soon acknowledged when in 1842 the first nature park in Finland was established in the rapids area. Today, the Kruununpuisto Park consists of four parks and various attractions. Kruununpuisto Park is home to an ancient park with its hailstorms, sightbeds on the banks of the rapids, the largest hydroelectric power station in Finland, the magnificent Jugendlinna and the summer theater.
