Emerald Isle, NC
Emerald Isle is a town on Bogue Bank Island and part of North Carolina's Crystal Coast. It is known for its excellent fishing and abundunt marine life. Emerald Isle's beaches are a favorite for nesting sea turtles.
Raining or too much sun? This is the place to go. Get there early for a good parking space. Tickets are between $10.95-$12.95.

The boat ramp is within walking distance for Pirate's Hide-A-Way. Walk toward Emerald Isle on our private street, continue through the path between the trees, Walk to the right of Chapel By the Sea and you are there. You may fish from the end of the dock or just watch the boats coming and going.

Hidden on the far side of the NC Wild Life Ramp, it is a great place for kids to play. It has benches for adults and parking if you need to drive.

It is one of the biggest hang outs for teenagers holding hands and just hanging out. My grandsone and his father go there to fish. Sometimes you have to pay to park and other times not.

The Point
The Point is where the Atlantic Ocean meets Bogue Sound.

Kinston
On the way to the beach from the western part of our state, you need to stop in Kinston. Kinston is full of history and GREAT restaurants.
