You can take the Ferry out from Point Judith (45 minute boat ride) and hit Block Island for the day. Small little island with great beaches and exploring. You can explore the quiet beaches or if you like to have cocktails on the beach while listening to live music you can go to Ballard’s.

It's very close to the house. It has a beach (very small, child friendly). It's nice for running, and walking.

Blue Shutters Town Beach, it's quiet, not overly crowded because of very limited parking so get there early, great waives and absolutely beautiful.

Ocean House, a Rhode Island Gem…. It’s a little bit of a ride and expensive (its next to Taylor Swifts house) but truly elegant.
