My own favorite secret places that cannot be found in touristic guides
1,7 km away from home, or 22 minutes away by foot, starts an amazing pedestrian road of 950 metres by the beach. You can also swim there or stop for some greek meze at one of the two tavernas on the sand, “Maistros” or “Trypia Varka”. Simply perfect!

The coastline of Voula is full of free beaches and places to explore, swim or have a picnick on the sand, but if you want to spend a whole day in a well-organised beach with full-service daybeds, cafe-restaurants, a handball court, shops, showers, changing rooms and even the ruins of an ancient temple, all of them on thick powdery sand, then Astir Beach is worth visiting. Tip: Do not leave before sunset! 7 minutes drive (3,7 km) from Crusoe.
