The lower end of Brant Street around city hall in Downtown Burlington is the city’s main shopping and dining district with a diverse offering of to-do’s - dining and shopping as well as festivals, farm market, outdoor exercise events, old classic pubs, a multitude of services as well as groceries and other essentials. South at the lake by a block is the waterfront park - Spencer Smith Park - with a renowned walking pier, kilometer long boardwalk, restaurant with incredible views of the lake and then a multi-kilometer beach.
