Fancy a bit of Chinese food? Visit Manadarin Gardens. No reservations needed, but they close early. Don't go after 8:30 pm. Delicious food and quality attention from the staff.

The classic local hangout for the Top Town visitor at the top of the hill. The booths took me back to the 50s. :)

Quaint original building back to the mining days, the Stockade offers great BBQ ribs or steaks and a variety of meals with drinks. Atmosphere of the wild west. Good food and round tables for good conversation.

I'm allergic to some Mexican spices, but this place makes my mouth water and want to risk dealing with a reaction.

Good food and service. Been around for many years. Some claim it is the best Pizza on the mountain, but I prefer their entrees. Truly a pleasant dining experience.

Actually Lake Gregory offers a beach, a par course, a hiking trail and beautiful views while walking 3.5 miles around the lake or hiking 2.5 miles over the trail. Good fishing (well stocked lake) and fun for the family -- kids of all ages at the water park.

Heart Rock trail is a easy to moderate hiking trail and is one of the premier hiking trails of California in our back yard. It is within biking (if you are a strong cyclist) or driving distance from our Park.

Essentials
The Goodwin family have been in Crestline nearly as long as the first residents. They run the local grocery (Goodwins on the corner of Lake and Lake Gregory) and a general store (Oak Trunk next to the Post Office)
You can buy fresh produce and snow boots; coffee and a sandwich at the deli or quality meat or fresh fish at the meat/fish counter.
The prices are reasonable, despite being up on the mountain. A refreshing experience.

MARTA Dial-A-Ride is for disabled users, but Mountain Transit comes regularly along Lake Drive to Arrowhead. The mountain is divided into three regions. A day fee allows for unlimited driving in one region--quite a savings, and you don't have to manage the curves through the mountain drives. Crestline to Arrowhead. A second region goes from Arrowhead to Running Springs. A third goes from Top Town down the hill to San Bernardino. http://mountaintransit.org/ Check out Mountain Transit dot org yourself for actual times and routes.

Skiing. Snow boarding. Just plain fun in the snow. Definitely worth the extra 45 min drive to get there. Could be much longer during a snow storm, but Hwy 18 is well plowed...and usually first on the rotations.
