Here is just a few of our favourite food and wine stops in our beautiful Helderberg and surrounds!
Triggerfish Brewing is a Somerset West based craft brewery focusing on brewing a wide range of exceptional craft beer. Their product range consists of 9 staple beers and a 16 seasonal and one off “wild” beers to date. “Wild” beers refer to beers with flavours that most local beer drinkers have never experienced.
Besides beer the taproom serves a seasonal menu and some fine local wines and artisanal schnapps. Triggerfish is open for tastings and beer sales Monday to Saturday and offers brewery tours by appointment.
This is also a hotspot for live music and entertainment. Check their website for updates on the next event!

The Coffee Roasting Company is also situated on the picturesque Lourensford surrounded by oak trees and green lawns with the majestic Helderberg in the background. This popular coffee shop is loved by locals and tourists alike.

Sweetwell is a working livestock farm. In a area filled with glitz and glamour, Sweetwell has stuck to its identity as first and foremost a farm, with the Deli, Butchery and Restaurant showcasing what is sold & produced on the farm. The butchery is famous for its exceptional quality pork that has people from all over traveling to purchase, and many top restaurants in the area purchasing as well.Other meats are also sold plus a large variety of deli products, small gifts and flowers. The bakery sells fresh breads daily. The restaurant is casual and elegant with a French flair décor wise.
