If it’s a nice sunny day, take a longer stroll down Tompkins Avenue and see lots of the Brownstown’s you see in lots of movies and head to the Rustik Tavern. Its look like a nothing door from outside but you step inside to a cozy bar/restaurant and they also have an outside terrace for those spring/summer days. http://rustiktavern.com/

The name doesn't exactly scream out THAI food but that's what the main menu is here! Great little place, conveniently located a 2 minute walk from the apartment. In the summer you can also sit outside in the backyard which is delightful, enjoying a chilled Thai beer and yummy food.

One of my fave wine bars, excellent wine list and cheeses to choose from. Every Sunday they have a live jazz bar. it's a small cozy place with a big oval bar.

Sightseeing
Definitely a must do! Amazing views of Brooklyn Bridge of the downtown Financial Area of Manhattan and even Statue of Liberty from a distance. It's an iconic bridge and I love it from every angle! This is favorite side though. If you want to walk over the bridge, be prepared for lots of tourists and watch out for the fast cyclist!

Make sure it’s a dry and clear day so you can enjoy some great views of the bridges and the Manhattan skyline, and get some fabulous photos from the open top deck.
