Approx an hours walk from the cottage. The remains of the old quarry are still visable at the foot of the mountain and also old machinary half way up.

On N56 take the turning for Downings / Carrigart aprrox 1/2 mile / 1km outside Creeslough. Approx 1.5 miles / 3km Doe Castle is sign posted to the left.
Guided tours are available by arrangement. Check on google.
