Neighbourhoods
Collingwood is in Southern Ontario on Georgian Bay. Collingwood is about a two-hour drive northwest of Toronto or four hours from Buffalo.
Collingwood is part of the South Georgian Bay area and accessed by several major highways.
Collingwood is probably best known in Ontario as a ski resort town. Alterra Mountain Company (also the owner of Mont-Tremblant in Quebec) operates Blue Mountain ski resort in Collingwood, which is the city's main draw.
More than a winter destination though, Blue Mountain and Collingwood attract visitors year-round, with excellent hiking, mountain biking, nearby beaches and water sports, zip line, golf and more.
Scenic Caves Nature Adventures is a local company that offers visitors the opportunity to experience natural wonders through education, environment and leisure activities, like ziplining, treetop canopy walks, caving, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

Close to our place, Kidding Around Indoor Playground & Parties, is Collingwood’s new family entertainment centre with 5,000 square foot indoor play facility ideal for children 10 years and younger. Our children always have a great time running, playing and exploring all the exciting things their playground has to offer. I am sure yours will too!

An enclosed pool is 25m long by 12m wide, with a water capacity of 540,000 litres. There is also a warm-water therapeutic pool which we love! If you check their website you will find free times to swim as well as family time.
The Aquatic Centre is located in Heritage Park at the corner of Third and Spruce Street. (451 Third Street). It is operated by the Town of Collingwood Parks, Recreation and Culture Department.

Below are some great restaurants with vegan options.
Copper Blues is delicious. They usually have 1-2 protein-packed vegan mains on the menu as well as a few appetizers. Mains are often marked vegan but if you're not sure about something it should be easy to check with the server. What I really love about Copper Blues is sitting on their patio on a warmer-than-usual afternoon following a morning on the slopes.
