Sliema is a few kilometers away. Easily reached by bus. Plenty of restaurants and shopping malls for one to enjoy. Also a place to visit during summer time enjoying a swim in one of the rocky beaches available there. Also some beach clubs located there. E.g Exiles, Sliema Pitch and Surf Side.

Better known as one of the the villages, Lija is famous for its fireworks show on the occasion its village feast on the 6th August. One can visit here in the evening enjoying a beautiful walk around the village and also eat in one of the restaurants there.
