Beautiful waterfall falling into a pool you are welcome to swim in. Kangaroos often visit too and are happy to be petted.

The Serpentine Dam has a large picnic area, free gas barbeques, a playground and toilets. It is one of the biggest dams supplying the Perth metro area.

Less well known than the larger dam down the road, Pipehead dam has a quieter eating area and kids play area and makes for a great daytrip. The eating areas are also covered making it a better option for rainy days
