If you're looking for a beach day, Galveston is about 1 hour by car from the condo. Here, you can find museums on one of the largest ports in America in the early 1900's. There are also many great bars, amusement parks, and other forms of entertainment. This can be a great day trip!

Although the subject is sad, this is one of the best Holocaust museums in the country. Houston is fortunate to have this glimpse into the horror of World War II and the holocaust - this is not to be missed.
