a foodie resto and wine place I can vouch for! I had my 30th there. Very intimate and distinguished decor inside. Would definitely not notice it from the outside as it looks modest and blends with the surroundings of the connecting neighbourhood over (little burgundy) walking distance from home, bike, or drive and look for parking! Also, close to the metro... Reservations usually required but worth it!

Resto by day/bar at night, this is a staple of Notre Dame Ouest- close enough to walk there, if you stay past 3am, about a 7$ uber back. Food is good and drinks are classic--- indoor/patio vibes!
