A short 15-20 minute walk up the hill from my home. Council Crest offers a staggering 360 degree view of Portland and on clear days one can see Mt Hood, Mt St Helens and Mt Rainier.

I highly recommend spending some time in the Pearl District. When I moved here 20+ years ago it was all abandoned warehouses, now it's one of the crown jewels of Portland and filled with shops and restaurants.
