Why I put this place on the guide has to do with Lasagne. As in the best I've ever had..Henny makes and freezes a meat and a veggie lasagne in sizes suitable to a couple or a family. I honestly dont think I could make it for the price. you dont.need to search for the meat and cheese! There are many other offerings including a hot chocolate bar and lovely hostess gifts but try the lasagne. thank me later.

This spot is close enough to walk to from the cabin and definitely worth the walk. Food is house made, fries are fresh cut, and vegans won't have trouble finding a nosh. Plus it's run by lovely young people who deserve your business!

Muskoka's only winery and cranberry farm
The Muskoka Lakes Farm & Winery is open every day of the year except Christmas and Boxing Day. In the summer, enjoy the trails, watch the cranberries flower. In fall, it's harvest time with those beautiful bouncing berries. And in winter, you can skate the ice trail day and at night lit by 300 tiki torches. Plus, you can't leave without tasting their cranberry wines and spritzers! Their bog to bottle tour is a Canadian signature experience. Fun for the whole family. There is a cost for hiking or snowshoeing their round the bogs trail system and for the Bog to Bottle Tour. The store is always open with everything cranberry. Visit any time of the year. On the weekend after Thanksgiving, Bala (Canada's cranberry capital) puts on a great party to celebrate the Cranberry with its award-winning three-day Bala Cranberry Festival.
