Its a super relaxing place to go hang out. They aren't open late, so catch them early. Nice selection of wine and craft beers. Friendly folks. Also do wine and beer tastings on certain nights of the week.

Beautiful spot to sit and relax. I would recommend everyone visit Southport waterfront during their visit to the area.

If you have time you should try to ride the ferry to Ft. Fisher. Its really cheap and you put your car on the ferry and they take you over. Its a beautiful spot when you get out and you can walk around or drive into Wilmington. There is also an aquarium over there. The best part is that you can get out of your car while riding the ferry and can sit in the top quarters of the boat. Super fun for kids. Even if you just ride over and then come back, kids always love it. Its a cheap boat ride and you may see a dolphin or two :)

Southport station
If you have time you should try to ride the ferry to Ft. Fisher. Its really cheap and you put your car on the ferry and they take you over.
