Ride the Amtrak from Maine to Boston, stopping in Exeter within walking distance of our house.

Exeter NH is an Amtrak served community. The station is walkable from this house, although there is a parking lot at the station. The Downeaster lines runs from Portland Maine, south to Boston's North Station. The Fleet Center is located within North Station, and the entire city is walkable in the summer. Heading north the trains makes many stops but most notably are Wells, Maine which is close to the entire southern coast of Maine including York and Ogunquit. Heading further north from Wells, the train stops right on Old Orchard Beach, steps from the ocean, then continues to Maine's largest city, Portland.
