The new healthy kid on the Mooloolaba café scene, CK Café Bar and Wholefoods is where you take your vegetarian, paleo, or fitness-lovin’ friend for a morning feast, any time of the day. Yep, these guys don’t tell you when you gotta eat brekkie, they just have the goods at the ready—All. Day. Long. Still super fresh, CK has already gained a loyal following and we’re dying to eat our way through the menu starting with the Vege Stack—a drool-worthy tower of roasted pumpkin, sautéed wild mushrooms, haloumi, and rocket with house-made dukkah, smashed avo, and a balsamic glaze, on toast. Sounds delish!

With an out-of-the-way location, interior packed with eclectic eye candy for hoarders, and menus pasted on pages within old atlases, this Mooloolaba café does thing differently. Don’t leave without trying one of their epic buckwheat crepes piled with tasty toppings. In the AM we’re all about savoury, so the crepe with truffled mushrooms, prosciutto, spinach, and parmesan, is right up our eating alley.

A semi easy trek up a small mountain. Takes about 20-30 mins to walk up and an easy 20mins to walk back down. The view from the top is worth the energy! On a clear day (most days in summer) you can see all of Sunshine Coast. Head out early morning or late afternoon to avoid the midday heat. Great photo op!

Our absolute favourite beach on the coast. Park up the northen end and walk down the stairs to the most sunning clear blue waters and white sand. Great for a surf when theres swell around!

If you are a seasoned hiker this is for you. Amazing views from the top and some decent rock faces make for a fun and challenging climb! As the summer warms up is best to head out early morning or late afternoon to avoid the midday heat.

Make sure to head out early to make a full day of this place - the main show is at midday - and make sure to pack a lunch (there are lockers there so you don't have to carry it around all day) as the cafes and restaurants there get pretty pricey!

Montville and Maleny are two quaint little settlements up in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Its a 40 minute drive but the views from the top are just spectacular! Both townships offer great shopping, cafes and so much more. Don't miss the Maleny Cheese Factory for a cheese platter and glass of wine in the afternoon, maybe a slice of their famous cheesecake, or stock up on their huge selection of cheese, milks and yoghurts. Devine!
