They have fantastic house Margaritas, daily drink specials, and decent Tex-Mex. I could eat their mini quesadillas and super burritos every other day for the rest of my life.

Essentials
Robert's can be a little on the pricey side, as far as groceries are concerned, but it's a really awesome local store with quality items & a great booze selection. If you have the luxury of a vehicle to travel a little further, we love Winn-Dixie and Rouses.

As aforementioned, if you have the luxury of having a vehicle for grocery shopping, Winn-Dixie has super-competitive pricing and everything you could possibly need. They are also open a little later than the other grocery stores in town.

As aforementioned, if you have the luxury of access to a vehicle during your stay, we love Rouses. Just across the street from Winn-Dixie, Rouses is a local grocery chain. You can stock up on all of your Louisiana staples, like Gingeroo, cajun crab dip (I highly recommend this, with sundried tomato-basil wheat thins...you'll never snack the same again), seafood. Their beer cave is also spectacular.
