Ewww, now that is cool! This cool pool is within the 358 acres of Zilker Park. It is a 3 acre pool being fed by nature from the Edwards Aquifer. The temperature stays consistently between 68-72 degrees and folks swim in it year round. Go take a dip!

oh my.... did you see that! Mt. Bonnell will one of those destinations that you remember for years to come! Beautiful views of the Colorado river, luxury homes and the ever changing skyline of Austin. It is a bit of a hike, but worth every step.

Easy drive from the Bamboo Leaf Retreat....right across the street is Barton Spings... a natural aquifer that is the best swimming hole in the state. You can also rent canoes and paddle boards in the area. A great way to spend the day!

If you know your Texas history, you are going to want to see this location. Stephen F. Austin, Davy Crocket were among 185 Texas soldiers held off over 1,800 men in the Mexican Army. If you have not seen it before, it is worth the trip.
