Sightseeing
Hot Spring is 2 miles from the house. Head left from the
property and at the end of the road veer right and then left. When you come to a T in the road take a right and follow the bumpy dirt road down the gorge. You’ll see a sign to Jon Dunn Bridge. Follow the road and you’re there!

John Dunn Bridge
County Road B-007Hot Spring is 2 miles from the house. Head left from the

property and at the T in the road take a right then follow the bumpy dirt road down the canyon down to the Jon Dunn Bridge. Cross the bridge across the big river and follow road to the left up the hill and you’ll see parked cars. This is the beginning of the
Black Rock Hot Spring Trail head. Super easy maybe 5-10
minute hike down to water. Clothing is optional here so
don’t be surprised! Everyone is super friendly and laid
back and never creepy. We take our 2 yr old here all the
time.

ski valley with awesome art galleries, great shopping, good
food and friendly people!

• Arroyo Secco is a super cool community on the way to the

food and friendly people!
• El Salto Waterfall hike is beautiful and is a great way to
escape a hot day. Just outside Arroyo Secco. There are suppose to be 7 waterfalls. The hike is 5 minutes to the first waterfall the rest are a steeper climb and may require you to crawl on your hands and knees. Look up El Salto Waterfall New Mexico for details and directions. Don't forget to stop and pay the entry fee on the way in. It is only $2.50 but the locals don't like it if you don't pay.

treacherous or dangerous though. The Bavarian is a gorgeous and amazing
restaurant at Lift 4 where you can enjoy the views and a beer.

summer is awesome too! Check the Taos Ski Valley website
when Lift 4 is open and enjoy nature walks and mountain
biking. Williams Lake is a great hike and well worth it but be
prepared because it’s long and the climb steep and

• Mid Town Lounge is perfect for something close and easy….right next to Mid Town Market…When you are leaving our property take a right on 006 when you get to the highway hang a left on 522 and it’s a mile down on the left. It looks like nothing but the food is tasty and they try to use local and organic products when possible.
