**Prohibition Grill** Co-owned by Copp Winery and Seafood Sellar. This is a fairly new place! We went once, there was a long wait but it was worth it!! Five minutes from the house. Pro tip: If its 5pm-8pm send someone up about an hour before you want a table to get on the waitlist, they will text you when a table is ready.

This is a journey in to the Chassahowitzka wildlife management area. It is 3$ per person to enter the wildlife management area, stop at pay station. Then follow the signs to the distillery, sometimes the have live music. Wildbuckwhiskey.com to check live music schedule, Njoy "hand made" spirits and have a great time!! About 30 minutes South.

This is where you rent a kayak or launch your boat or kayak on the beautiful Chassahowitzka River! Ask for a map of the Springs on the river. 17 miles. Stop by "Wallace's at the Greenhouse" for a veggie wrap before or to sit down for lunch after, this would be a really great day. Wanna see a hippo? Take the boat ride to the park (park at the visitors center off hwy 19) its a lot of fun and you will see a lot of Florida native wildlife, most in rehab.

This one is an hour away. But here is where you’ll find the “world famous glass bottom boats”. If your feeling more adventurous, make a reservation for a kayak rental and the shuttle. You paddle the beautiful six mile spring run and then they will shuttle you back to the main park and your car.

Once you book your stay, book a charter! As time gets closer to your vacation, your ideal date is less likely to be available.
Tip: Everything is less busy during weekdays, especially the water! Do what you can during the week.

Sun screen, bug spray
Crystal River, same as all of Florida, sometimes has biting knats, mosquitoes and plenty of sunshine!! If you are planning time outside don't forge these two!! Hat, shades and layers also!
