Hiking
This trail is just down the road! The Ritchie Hollow Trail is an approximately 2.7 mile trail (one-way) that ties the Tennessee River to the top of Suck Creek Mountain and the Davis Pond parking area and campsite on Prentice Cooper State Forest. The trail also crosses the Cumberland Trail system’s Pot Point Loop 2.2 miles from the lower trailhead parking area.

This is a great set of trails to explore with the family! A short drive (about 18 min) from the cabin.

This local watering hole/burger joint is 5 minutes from the Cabin. Their cheese burgers are great and they make a fantastic Reuben. They also have a great selection of beer!
Check them out for kayak and stand up paddle board rentals too!!

Things to do
The Tennessee aquarium is awesome to explore on a rainy day (or any other day for that matter). It’s huge! In the summer, the kids will love playing in the fountains out front.

This climbing gym is so impressive! This would make for an excellent rainy day activity for those interested in climbing! If nothing else, go in and ask to look around at all the amazing climbers- kids, beginners, and pros!
