Linger use to be a mortuary. The food is fantastic, as are the cocktails. The rooftop view is worth checking out at night.

The food is so good, and there's a great bloody mary selection. Call in advance to save yourself some trouble because the line can get pretty long.

I suggest Huevos Rancheros or the breakfast burrito. Put green chile on everything, because that's what we do in Denver.

This is about a mile down the hill on Speer Ave from my house. You can see the Nuggets or Avs play here. If you take Uber, it will be just the minimum fee for a ride.

Coors Field is also just a very inexpensive Uber/Lyft ride down the hill. (You can walk it, and I have many times, because walking can be faster in traffic around game time.) If the weather and season permits, this is a great way to spend a leisurely evening.

Ned is a cool town with a frozen dead guy past. It can/should be one of the first stops as you head into the Rocky Mountains. Stop by the lake and walk around a bit and then go into town for pizza.
