Believe it or not, this place has great burgers in addition to a fun retro bowling atmosphere. Inexpensive and a great place to hang out, get some good food and bowl a few games.

Beautiful mountain golf course, challenging with lots of trees. Dont miss this course if you are up here to golf. Located at the norther end of Heber Valley in Midway right at the base of Guardsman Pass.

A world class Alpine Skiing destination. First class amenities and only 15 minutes from the cottage and villa. Two options to begin your day include the Mayflower exit off Highway 40 to access the Jordanelle Gondola (15 min from the cottage and villa). Or you can go into Park City and make your way to the Deer Valley main lodge to park (25-30 min).

Deer Valley

World Famous Park city wich includes the Canyons Resort. Free parking at the Canyons under the cabriolet lift. Paid parking only at the main Park city facilities. Local tip to start and end your day at Canyons to save the parking fee. You can ski your way over to the Park City side easily from the Canyons and the Canyons is a great ski area on its own.

Previously developed and owned by Actor Robert Redford, the resort has recently been purchased and several improvements have been made but the same rustic charm still exists. Great place for summer sightseeing and hiking as well. Elevation is a bit lower so conditions may not be as good here as other ski areas.

Any season, treat yourself and your family to a ride on the Heber Valley Historic Railroad. Only 5 min from the Cottage and Villa, there are always fun trips departing each day for an hour or two. Beautiful scenery, fun interaction with the Railroad staff. Heck the train may even get robbed while you are on it!

A Beautiful drive up to Cascade from the Soldier Hollow area rewards you with a peacful, unique cascading set of waterways and paths. One of our favorite places to take guests in the summer. Walking path is relatively easy and paved/boardwalked.

About an hour away, up highway 150 out of Kamas and on the way to beautiful Bald Mountain Pass and Mirror lake highway, this waterfall is easy to access (when open in the late spring / summer / early fall). The falls are right next to the parking area and an easy 100yrd walk. Addtional falls can be found up and down the rivers path if you are adventureous enough to hike beyond. While up here, head up the road a few miles more to see the numerous alpine lakes, Bald Mountain pass and Mirror Lake.
