Only 250m away, Bateau Bay beach is a hidden gem. A favourite with the locals, it offers swimming, surfing, snorkelling and rock pools. On the weekend you'll often see parasailors launching from nearby Crackneck Lookout and landing in the sand at the back of Bateau beach.

A 5 - 10 minute walk away along the coastline is Crackneck Lookout. With views all the way to the Entrance, it is the best place to catch the sunrise. If you're feeling adventurous you can parasail from here and land down on Bateau Bay beach. Or follow the bush path all the way through to Forresters Beach.
