Wasena is an up and coming area of Roanoke! Some of my favorite spots are located there. RND is one of Roanoke's best coffee shops and is located right on Main Street in the Wasena neighborhood. The Green Goat, sits right off the Greenway and has excellent outdoor sitting with great food. There is the Tap Room and a climbing wall located there as well. Bloom is the newest addition to the neighbor and definitely worth your time and money!

If you are in Roanoke, you must go to the star! I prefer going at sunset or at night to see the city lights from the mountain.
