I strongly recommend this restaurant if you want to try some good Mexican seafood! It’s a bit far from Zona Hotelera, it is located in Puerto Juarez. One of my favorite restaurants in Cancun and not very expensive.

Another excellent seafood restaurant located dowtown in the Mercado 28. It has a big variety of dishes!

Chichén Itzá is one of the 7 wonders of the world. Even though it’s located in Yucatán (our neighboring state) you can book a tour that will take you from Cancun to Chichén Itzá and bring you back in the same day. Definitely worth the travel!

Tulum’s archaeological zone was an old Mayan city located right infront of the beach. You can learn it’s history while enjoying the beautiful views.

Ruta de los Cenotes (Cenote Route) is located in Puerto Morelos 15 minutes away from Cancún. In this road there are many entrances to cenotes where you can swim and some even offer food.
I would recommend this place if you have a car, otherwise it would be difficult to get a taxi for the returning.
These cenotes have an entrance fee.
