Neighborhoods
Harvard is a quaint town of about 6,000 residents that feels like a step back 50 years. The general store is the hub of the town, which serves food, drinks, and has fun pub nights. People cycle from Boston to Harvard for the spectacular hills and views. Many conservation area trails provide wonderful hiking, and Fruitland’s museum gives a history of the Shaker people and Native Americans who lived in Harvard first. A large pond is within walking distance from the house with a life guarded sandy beach and a playground, as well as paths around the local schools and their amenities. A gorgeous red brick library with a fireplace and views of Bare Hill Pond is a 3 minute walk away. Most residents are families or have lived here long since raising their own families.
