This provincial park is free to explore. It has a variety of loops to take for different hikers and is not too challenging on the shorter loops. The views from the shore across Hardy Lake are wonderful in all seasons. Note: Parking is in short supply so you may need to park along the road as it can be very popular during the weekends.

This is a great ski hill with lots of variety for all ski levels. There is plenty of parking and only 35 minutes from Bala. There is very easy access to and from the 400.

This cafe and coffee shop includes some great specialty gifts but the best part about this is the dock out back! A great place to enjoy a beverage and watch the boats on Muskoka Lake.
