A lovely walk from the apartment to the Boathouse at Shelly Beach, allow about 15 mins. Al fresco dining in a Hamptons style casual dining environment. Feel free to wear your bathers or dress up, anything goes! No bookings required, just turn up. Recommend the seafood platter! Check the website for daily specials.

Hugos is a favourite of mine, the food is consistently good and reasonably priced for an upmarket venue. They make great cocktails and the location is superb. A great place to go for a pre dinner cocktail to watch the sun set or for a long lazy lunch. Try and book a table either on the outer deck or the perimeter of the restaurant to capture the harbour views

On the harbourside, I love this place for lunch or an early dinner as it is a lovely spot to watch the sunset. Ask for a table outside if possible (though can sometimes get windy here). Great food and friendly staff. More upmarket and nice for a special occasion.

Giovanni Pilu is from Sicily and their food is just amazing. Definitely a place for a special occasion. I prefer lunch here to enjoy the amazing views over Freshwater Beach. A very special location!

This little hole in the wall Indian is one of my favourite places to have a curry. Particularly the Mushroom Korma. I like sitting outside as the inside part is very small and can get noisy. Lovely owner and staff.

This is a fabulous fish restaurant, also a good spot to enjoy an afternoon cocktail as faces west and gets the afternoon sun. Consistently good food. The snapper pie is amazing.

I love this restaurant on the spit bridge (need to get a bus or taxi here). Definitely my favourite Italian, a perfect spot for lunch, worth the journey!

Love this place, great for the best Greek food outside Greece. Good for takeaway or eat in. The best Taramasalata ever. Recommend for lunch but as inside and no outdoor seating, probably better on a rainy or cooler day.

In my opinion the best coffee in Manly. They also do great Yoghurt and Acai bowls, great for a morning coffee and breakfast. Andreas and Danni the owners are charming.
