A local "best kept secret" is slowly not the best kept any more! However, one of my favorite places for breakfast. A very small joint, (go early if the weekend, opens at 8am!) they provide a menu that ranges from homemade oatmeal to huevos rancherous, eggs benedict of many kinds, buffalo burgers, homemade sweet breads and pies, killer teas and coffee, and friendly service. Worth the wait if you do happen to hit a long line. (the place is very small, only 3 booths, old fashioned counter with swivel chairs and some limited out door seating). The owner, "Efie" is a lovely Greek woman, who is almost always around.

Owned by a true Irishman, Danny, has been the owner of this classic Pub for a few decades! They serve a great burger, bar food, beer, cocktails, free popcorn, daily specials, and breakfast on weekends. Best of all, the locals and the bartender Jim, are the real reasons we visit!

This is really a comedy club, with all the shows Improv, which provides for one of the most difficult yet hysterical forms of comedy! I haven't been to a better club yet, (including MANY in the Detroit area). It is also VERY reasonable in price! Owner "PJ" has a huge commitment to the industry as well as our community.

Saturday 6am to 4pm year round, and during the summer until October, 9am until 2pm. A myriad of people to watch, music to hear (free), smells to be had (bbq, corn, kielbasa, coffee, fresh bread). Nothing like it. A MUST GO.
