A car is the best way to get around.
Having your own vehicle is the easiest way to get around. There is some availability of Uber. You can bike from the house to Goddard Park as well as downtown East Greenwich if you are a bit more ambitious. Providence has trains to Boston, NYC and beyond.

We supply plenty of beach towels and have several beach chairs available, but you may want to bring beach toys, cooler, umbrella, additional chairs, cart/wagon, sunblock, etc.

WaterFire Providence
Seasonal (May-Nov) nightime festival along the Providence River. Make sure you attend a Full Lighting. Schedules are available online. Large basins are set ablaze by gondola boats. Local artists, vendors, and performers set up tents. Food and beverages (including alcohol) are available for purchase. WaterFire makes for an enchanting night out that you won't forget!
