Things to do
Peacocks walk around this area, though they tend to use this house as their main center. It's a nice walk. I recommend walking from Waluga to Oakridge to Bonaire and back.

If you feel up for an adventure, go rafting on the White Salmon River. They offer a whole day trip, which come recommened! The water is cold, so I would say, prime time would be June/July, maybe August if you're lucky with the water levels.

Highly recommended there is Okalani, a good (and very fairly priced) sushi spot, and the Pfriem brewery. If you're there in summer, ask for their Wit beer (not hoppy, light but very tasty!).
