Activities
The hot tubs are particularly great after a long day of exercise. You can take your own wine......
Cycle hire (E-Bikes) is available in Omarama and it's the starting point of section 5 of the alps2ocean trail. Take a ride along the new stretch of trail between Sailors Cutting and Benmore Dam.
The Clay Cliffs, are also well worth a visit.

Sightseeing
Lake Ohau. Can be accessed along Manuka Terrace, approximately a 4km drive from the cabin on unsealed road. Alternatively, you can take the 35-minute drive around the opposite side of the lake to Ohau Village.

The Hooker Valley Track is an absolute must-do. Take the 56km (approx 45-minute) drive to the White Horse Hill Campsite Carpark. From there, it's an easy 10km return walk. Amazing views all the way. Please, always take the necessary precautions when taking any hike.

Food scene
A personal favourite of ours. It's a little further afield at 79km's but hey, it's still under an hour!!! This cute little winery is both friendly and unpretentious. Get yourself a food platter and a tasting paddle and lose the afternoon sat amongst the vines. Hay bales and Country music in the background, just perfect.
Please check opening hours before you visit as may be closed for some of the winter months.

5292a Kurow-Duntroon RdA personal favourite of ours. It's a little further afield at 79km's but hey, it's still under an hour!!! This cute little winery is both friendly and unpretentious. Get yourself a food platter and a tasting paddle and lose the afternoon sat amongst the vines. Hay bales and Country music in the background, just perfect.
