A short drive over the bridge to the mainland you will find Zip world & Zip world forest. Zip world is the fastest in the world and the forest run is a toboggan ride through the pine forests, well worth a visit !

A trip to Newborough Forest is your chance to get out and about and hopefully see Red squirrels in the process. Wandering amongst the tall firs and the smell of pine cones will awaken the senses. As you progress through the forest you will get a tantalizing glimpse of the menai straights glistening through the trees . Combine this trip with a visit to LLanddwyn Island , a photographers dream !!

Plenty to see in Beaumaris with it's multi coloured houses , A pier jutting out into the Menai Straights , the dramatic Beaumaris Castle and plenty of restaurants, sea side Fish & Chips and delicious homemade icecream
Nearby is Penmon lighthouse, a great spot to Look across to Puffin Island or just relax in the cafe if it happens to be open !

Mountain Views and glorious scenery
If it's a view you want mount Snowdon is the place , as long as it's a clear day ! A pleasant drive through Snowdonia National park will take you through pretty villages and towns like Betws- y -Coed

Neighbourhoods
Talwrn is so conveniently placed for everything the Island has to offer , 5 mins + to the nearest beach, nature walks , green spaces for your dog and our garden which has visiting red squirrels, pheasants, and wild birds attracted to the feeders.
The nature walk 'THE DINGLE' is just two miles away , nicely shaded in the sun or shielding from the rain, either way there's a good chance of seeing red squirrels, it's a lovely place to take a stroll .

Fo r more like a family pub there is the Panton Arms or the Bull in Pentraeth just a 3 or 4 minute drive from Anglesey Hideaway.
