Pick up a lamp or a couch while you're in KC. It's packaged so efficiently, it'll even fit in your sedan. Plus you can get some Swedish meatballs if you're hungry while you're shopping.

Really authentic Middle Eastern food. It's got a little store where you can buy all the yummy things. It's a bit of a hole in the wall, not fancy by any means, but the food is incredible (take out or dine in).

KC is known for it's BBQ, and this is our family's favorite. There's another location as well, they're both great.

Our favorite bbq place is Q-39, but Joe's is such a close 2nd. If you go, make sure to get some burnt ends -- they are incredible!

Absolutely amazing food, and great beer too. They've got some creative breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes, and it's in a great neighborhood to explore, full of interesting places and cool architecture.

For people of faith, this is an awesome place to experience. It's open 24/7 and is basically a large auditorium with music constantly playing and people coming and going to pray.

There's a free streetcar that goes in a loop downtown between several big neighborhoods. It's a great way to see more of the city without needing to worry about parking more than once.
