A pretty short (4 mile total) in and out hike with magnificent views up on top. Slightly over 1,400 ft elevation gain during the 2 mile up, so the hike is rated as moderate. Views are totally worth it. Please check conditions and weather before going.

Nice hike up through the forest with spectacular and vast views at the top near lake. In and out 5.1 miles trail with 1,473 ft elevation gain. Worth every step! Don't forget to reserve your Central Cascades Wilderness Permit.
