Love Lane in Mattituck is such a cute street about 15-20 minutes from the house. Love Lane Kitchen is the best for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Good Food has really good sandwiches and empanadas and other pre-made items. The cheese shop is incredible. Love Lane Market is great for Italian food and meats and specialty items.

Beautifully designed museum and fun for a day trip. Take the ferry to Shelter Island then another ferry to the Hamptons. Can make a day of it and check out the Dan Flavin Art Institute in Bridgehampton as well.
