Food scene
The Switzerland Cafe is my favorite local restaurant for lunch, open 11-4. Everything on the menu is delicious! The smoked trout BLT is always a favorite along with the tomato basil soup…oh and don’t even get me started on their quiche or desserts.

The Switzerland Inn had a lovely restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating that boasts phenomenal views. In the summer, it is difficult to get a table for dinner but you can always try eating in their bar, the Fowl Play Pub. Always a delicious meal, try their prime rib or roast duck.

A scenic 2.5-mile loop trail to Crabtree Falls is moderate to strenuous with a short section with a steep incline and rocky terrain. Hikers should allow 1.5 to 2.5 hours for the entire hike

The first overlook is 0.5 miles from the visitor center, and is a moderate walk with a slight change of elevation.
