This is a bar/restaurant with awesome food and great cocktails. It's sort of a gastro pub that has a Mexican-leaning menu, but great steaks and burgers too.

I love love Pleasant House. It's always so nice in there, great selection of beer on tap, excellent cocktails and a delicious, approachable but interesting menu.

OMG you have to go here and get some ice cream. Being in Michoacana is sensory overload, but their ice cream and frozen fruit concoctions are the best. It's open surprisingly late for an ice cream shop.

I love Casa. Casa was my first grocery store when i first moved to Pilsen, before i had to move west in pursuit of lower rents. Casa has most everything except for liquor.

The best BBQ pulled pork and beef brisket in town, pro tip: get your sandwich on garlic bread. Honky Tonk also has stellar musicians playing nightly. The music tends to mostly be bluegrass, jazz and swing jazz, which i love.

Punch House is in Dusek's basement, so you go in through the Dusek's door and take the stairs down. I frequent Punch House with friends for its comfy lounge booths, great cocktails and laid back vibe. Not a dive but not fancy. Dj spinning good music most nights.

This is my favorite neighborhood bar, it's a dive, it's cheap, they play music sometimes, sometimes it's good music, they have tv's, and a little patio area out back for chillin/smokin.

Cash only. Awesome, dark, chill dive bar with a juke box, pinball machines and an old school photo booth. Great (greasy) cheeseburger, and people love their tater tots (i'm not a tater tots guy).
