Cut your own flowers in the field! Or choose from their cut blooms and make your own bouquet. Applefield Farm also sells a variety of plants in their greenhouse, as well as produce and dried flowers. This is a weekly stop for me - and the source of the Hideaway's bouquets.

Orchards
Don't let the name fool you. These are no ordinary orchards (ok, some of them are).
Come for the apple picking, stay for the hard cider! The Carlson family are super kind folks who just opened up a gorgeous, purpose-built Cider Barn in the past year. Their bar serves up all house hard ciders and a few cider cocktails. Order the pizza (good stuff, real pizza oven) anytime or swing by when they have a food truck and live music. Outdoor and indoor seating with plenty of ventilation.

Very good, real-deal pizza with a small but solid selection of beers and cabin-like interior. Indoor and outdoor seating. Pro tip: Order the Rustica pizza and ask to add ricotta. Insanely popular open mic nights on Thursdays. Kind of has a (leather) biker vibe to it.

Right now, you must reserve a table ahead of time (in the "Vintner's Knoll" ); it's $5 per person to reserve, but you get to take home a nice wine glass each and a cooler tote (1 per party). Very dog and kid friendly!

Their awesome Cider Barn is a local secret - brand new, large, with indoor and outdoor seating. They serve house ciders and really good wood-fired pizzas. It's a spot popular with families, groups, and couples alike.
