This is the first place I ever rode a horse. The sky train down to the river is amazing and the restaurant down the bottom has amazing views. The back porch of the resort has some of the best views in the state. The lake has awesome inflatables in summer for swimming, or fishing year round. There are countless hiking trails, including the ones that run along the sky train route. There is frisbee golf and two real golf courses. You can spend days in this park!

This is a great hike just a few minutes away from the cabin. There's lots of swimming here in the summer a nice picnic area up top.

Beautiful waterfalls about 30 minutes down the road. This road is also a great place to find black wanuts and pawpaws when they are in season.

There is a huge hydroelectric dam here where the 2 rivers meet and form the New river. Amazing views and great fishing.

Check out the country's newest national park. There are tons of waterfalls, trails, swimming, fishing, and great outdoor activities. White water rafting is a ton of fun. There is an annual bridge jumping festival for those brave enough to jump from the new river bridge.
