Wallingford Square has lots of foodie places. Black Birch is the first go-to spot. Check out TripAdvisor and read away. Anneka Jans, Tulsi, and more. Parking is a hassle in the winter so this summer is going to be nuts. Good luck!

Hands down, the dining choice for local foodies. BYOB and cash or check. Too much food so be prepared to take some back to your apt.

Cool house tour - one of the Historic New England collection. But the real reason to go is to picnic on the Salmon Falls River when it is too cool or foggy at the beach.

For as "touristy" as it gets, Nubble Light is iconic and the surrounding grounds (on the mainland) are a great place to frolic and picnic. Or people-watch the wedding pix during the season

A lot of people shop here. Bass Store has constant whole store sales, thus explaining most of Phil's wardrobe. Mostly we avoid them, especially on a rainy day when the tourists descend!

Interesting shops. Numerous good restaurants (MC's, Barnacle Billy's). Access to the cliff walk. TAKE THE BACK WAY on Shore Road and you'll beat the crazy Route 1 traffic jams in Ogunquit
