300 Km's of amazing trail hugging the cliffs of the communities nearby St. John's from Pouch Cove to Cappehayden on the Southern Shore. Good for both day hikers and Thru Hikers. Lots of wide open space and berries too later in the season

Quidi Vidi lake is where they hold the Annual St. John's Regatta, held the first Wednesday of August unless the weather (mainly the winds) are too high. This year we celebrate 200th annual running - the Oldest sporting event in Newfoundland. The lake is great for walking, running and also attracts a number of sea birds. You can also walk near or through Quidi Vidi Brewery
